the only one true tradition we have for the season, is the reading of the Night Before Christmas on the night before Christmas. One year, just as we got to "up on the roof I heard such a clatter" we heard a noise outside, and a huge four-pointer buck walked past our living room window... it was enough to give me goosebumps! My mamasan always liked to play the Messiah on christmas morning, (even though it's an Easter Mass). She always spoke of her fond memories of midnight mass, but we never went when I was growing up. Maybe we still have time to create some traditions for the granbabyboi?
